TheatreWorks New Milford will hold auditions Dec. 10-11 from 7 to 9 p.m. for its upcoming production of the musical comedy "Adrift in Macao."

A cast of four men and three women is sought.

The play, under the director of Bradford Blake of Danbury, will be staged Feb. 22 through March 23.

Auditioners must be confident singers and come prepared with 16 bars of an appropriate musical theatre song or a popular song from the 1940s or 1950s that fits the comic ilk of a film noir parody.

Although there are no real dance roles and no intense choreography in the show, it would be helpful for auditioners to have a dance sense when it comes to approaching the physicality and musicality of the characters.

Most important is a good sense of comic parody.

Parking is available behind the Catherine E. Lillis Building off East Street.
