The Merryall Center for the Arts in New Milford will present two programs Sept. 12-13.

A screening of "Les Miserables" (1935), featuring Academy and Tony Award winner Frederic March, and his wife Florence Eldridge, Charles Laughton and Cedric Hardwicke, will be held Sept. 12 at 8 p.m.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets to the screening are $10 for adults and $5 for students; it includes soft drinks and popcorn.

In addition, a program of music by Judy Handler and Mark Levesque will be held Sept. 13 at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $25.

"Tanglewood on the West Aspetuck," where patrons are invited to bring a picnic for dining on the center's deck along the river, will be offered at 7 p.m.
