30th District GOP to hold forum

The state 30th District Republicans will hold a legislative forum June 21 at 7:30 a.m. in Kent.

The forum will take place at the Fife'n Drum along Route 7.

State Sen. Andrew Roraback, R-30, who is running for Congress, will be joined by state representatives John Rigby, R-63, Richard Smith, R-108, Clark Chapin, R-67, Craig Miner, R-66, David Scribner, R-107, Art O'Neill, R-69, and John Piscopo, R-76.

The GOP legislators will give a review of the 2012 legislative session and answer questions.

Also invited are Republican candidates for state General Assembly seats in the 63rd, 64th, 65th and 67th districts and Republican candidates for Congress in the 5th District and the U.S. Senate.

Tickets are $25. Proceeds will be used to try to elect Republicans in the 30th District.
