Special meeting planned for AWS

The Animal Welfare Society of New Milford will hold a special purpose meeting Jan. 11 at the railroad station on Railroad Street.

The meeting will start immediately after the regular monthly members' meeting, which starts at 7:30 p.m.

The purpose of this meeting will be to: vote on the annual budget; fill the vacancy of the president, remainder one year of two-year term; to fill the vacancy of the treasurer, remainder one year of two-year term; and to fill the vacancy of the director, one-year term.

The annual budget is available at the shelter, 8 Dodd Road, for review.
