The New Milford Lions Club will hold its first annual Fall Festival and Car Show Oct. 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Harrybrooke Park in New Milford.

The rain or shine event will feature a variety of events and activities.

Registration for the car show will begin at 8 a.m.

Opening ceremonies will start at 10 a.m., followed by the following schedule of events:

Offerings will include a kiddie peddle tractor challenge, a Jaws of Life demonstration, cake walks, a magic show by Magic Marty, a karate demonstration by Northern Star Karate, a tug of war competition, each, lumberjack demonstrations by Still Going Strong, an Elite Gymnastics demonstration, a sack race competition, a hot wings eating competition, a display of the winning scarecrow and pie baking entries, music by a disc jockey, an estate sale, vendor booths, the sale of pumpkins, mums and food, and a variety of games.

Shuttle buses will provide transportation to the park from the Bennett dealership on Route 7 South.

Admission will be $5 for people 12 and older. Registration for the car show will be $10.

Proceeds will be used toward improvements at the Lanesville Road park and for the New Milford Lions Club Foundation Inc. Community Betterment Fund.
