The Institute for American Indian Studies in Washington will offer a variety of programs in the coming weeks.
They will include a Litchfield Hills Archaeology Club lecture March 14 at 3 p.m., a maple sugar festival March 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and a winter film festival March 27-28 at 2 p.m.
Pancakes with local maple syrup will be served during the maple sugar festival from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. while children's activities will run from 1 to 3 p.m.
Admission for the maple sugar festival is $8 for adults and $6 for children in advance and $10 for adults and $8 for children at the door.
