Green to be part of Roxbury fundraiser

The Friends of Roxbury Senior Center will sponsor a fundraising event with author Jeannine Green March 20 from 4 to 6 p.m.

The event, to be held at town hall on Route 67, will feature a brief talk by the Roxbury author at 4:30 p.m., as well as local history exhibits and book signings.

Ms. Green recently published "Roxbury Place-Name Stories: facts, folklore, fibs."

The book will be available to purchase in soft- and hardcover.
