Gail Sweet, 65, was mother of New Milfordite

Mrs. Sweet was born Dec. 7, 1943, in Norwalk, daughter of the late Richard H. and Velma (Avalone) Daskam.
She was a graduate of Norwalk High School, Class of 1961.
Mrs. Sweet worked as a quality control technician for Trident in Brookfield for 15 years.
She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church in Brookfield and a loving wife and devoted mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband, John, Mrs. Sweet is survived by two sons, John E. Sweet Jr., and his wife, Deborah, of New Milford, and Richard H. Sweet, of Brookfield; two grandsons, John and Christopher Sweet; a brother, Richard H. Daskam, and his wife, Rita, of Florida; two sisters, Donna Jackson and her husband, Joseph, of Florida, and Sharon Hall and her husband, James, of Stratford; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, William and Gary Daskam.
The Brookfield Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
