The Kent Historical Society's Seven Hearths museum is up and running for the season.

Three small exhibits are featured, including exhibits of George Laurence Nelson's portraits of local people, a collection of 20th century clothing from the Barton family and heirlooms from the Peet and Straight families.

In addition, the historical society is looking for information about a former school, Flanders Academy, housed at Seven Hearths.

Anyone who has information about the school is asked to e-mail kenthistorical@att.net or call 860-927-4587.

Seven Hearths, located on Route 7 north, is open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
