Christine Beth Ledvinka and Scott A. Rush were married May 2, 2010, by the Rev. Fred Werhan at The Hill House in Asheville, N.C.

The bride is the daughter of James Ledvinka of 175 Landor Drive, Athens, Ga., and Kathleen Kearney of 4918 Jessup Grove Road, Greensboro, N.C. The groom is the son of Joe W. and Lee H. Rush of 19 Fox Run, New Milford.

Rebecca Watts was matron of honor. Clare Ellen "Elle" Rush, niece of the groom, was flower girl.

Garrett Rush, brother of the groom, was best man.

A reception followed at The Hill House.

Christine Rush graduated from Clarke Central High School in Athens, the University of Georgia in Athens with a B.A. in political science, a master's degree of public administration and a Ph.D. in public administration and policy and Emory University School of Law in Atlanta with a J.D. She teaches at Cleveland State University in Cleveland.

Scott Rush graduated from New Milford High School, the University of Rhode Island in West Kingston, R.I., with a B.Sc. in resource development, York University in York, Ontario, in Canada, with a M.Sc. in biology and the University of Georgia in Athens with a Ph.D. in wildlife ecology and management. He is a post-doctorate fellow at the University of Windsor, Windsor, Ontario.

The couple resides in Cleveland.
