The town of Kent will celebrate the state's 375th birthday with a scavenger hunt June 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The walking adventure will include stops along Main Street or just off of it.

It is open to teams of no more than five people, with exceptions made for family groups.

Participants may pick up a scavenger hunt kit at Kent Memorial Library on Main Street.

The completed kit must be returned to the library the day of the hunt at 3 p.m.
