The New Milford Visiting Nurse Hospice Program will hold its 27th Annual Interfaith Remembrance Service Nov. 21 at 4 p.m. in New Milford.

The service will be followed by the lighting of New Milford's Tree of Life.

To be held at the First Congregational Church on Main Street, the service will remember and honor the deceased members of the community.

The service will feature readings, music and the reading of the Roll of Remembrance.

After, residents are invited to the lighting of the Tree of Life in front of the Richmond Citizen Center next to the church.

A reception will follow in the church's fellowship hall.

Trees of Life will also be displayed in Washington, Sherman, Bridgewater, Roxbury and Kent.

However, the only other tree lighting ceremony will be held at the Swift House on Swifts Lane in Kent Dec. 5 at 4:30 p.m.
