Bridgewater Congregational Church to host holiday fair

The Bridgewater Congregational Church will host a fair-trade store through Dec. 19.
Gifts from Ten Thousand Villages and SERRV will be available.
Patrons can buy Fraser Fur Christmas trees ranging from six to nine feet high that can be loaded into or tied on top of a vehicle.
Shopping hours will be Fridays from 3 to 5 p.m.; Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Refreshments will be available.
After the town's tree-lighting festivities today (Friday), Dec. 3, a Christmas concert by the Shepaug Valley Middle/High School strings and Brookfield High School small group chorus will be held in the church.
The church will hold candlelight services of lessons and carols Dec. 24 at 5 and 8 p.m., with a half-hour musical prelude by the church choirs.
